Man found shot to death behind southwest Houston business park

A man was found shot to death in the back of a southwest Houston business park Monday morning. according to Houston police.

Officers were called out to the 10800 block of Kinghurst Street around 8:45 a.m. and found the man, believed to be in his late 20s or early 30s, dead on the ground next to his Chrysler car. His body appeared to have fallen out of the open driver’s door after being shot

Video footage from nearby business shows the victim drive into the rear alleyway behind a strip center sometime overnight Sunday, according to Houston Police Department Homicide Detective Ken Fregia. Almost immediately, a second car pulled in behind the Chrysler, Fregia said the video showed.

Within minutes of the victim stopping behind the building, shots rang out and multiple people were seen running around the second car, which ultimately sped away. Fregia did not have a detailed description of the car and is waiting on additional footage from closer businesses to hope shed some light on what transpired.
