Gunman at large after shooting 3 in Burleson home

Three men were wounded and a suspect was still at large after a shooting at a Burleson home Wednesday morning, police said.

The shooting happened around 2:10 a.m. in the 100 block of Northeast Timber Ridge Drive, police said. The victims, whose names haven’t been released, were part of a group of five in the home and are 21, 27 and 28 years old, Burleson Police Chief Billy Cordell said.

No one else was wounded, but Cordell said one of the people inside the home left voluntarily with the suspect.

The victims were taken to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth in unknown condition.

An initial investigation indicates the suspect was familiar with at least one of the victims and there is no threat to the community, Cordell said.
