Cold, then a weekend warm up

Skies will gradually clear on Friday, but it will be cold with temperatures running about 20 degrees below normal for this time of year.

The weekend will feature a nice warm up with a good deal of sunshine.

The next strong cold front arrives Monday with temperatures falling back into the 40s and a good chance of rain. Much of next week will have below normal temperatures.
