Her mother, Sorena Herrington, told KTVT-TV (Channel 11) that although no one in the family had heard from her, they didn’t realize she was missing until her husband, John Harris, found her car abandoned on the side of a road in Carrollton last Friday.

She said the couple had separated recently and Harris had been staying with a friend. She had two children, a 1-year-old son and 2-year-old daughter.

Herrington told Channel 11 that she has suspicions about who killed her daughter.

“It’s somebody she knows — period,” Herrington told the station. “That’s all I know, and that’s where I’m keeping my mind or trying to.”
