Man on run after his girlfriend was shot with shotgun in Fort Worth

A man suspected of wounding his girlfriend with a shotgun remains at large after the early Saturday morning shooting in Fort Worth.

Officers responded about 3 a.m. to a shooting call in the 4900 block of Lovell Avenue, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.

There, they found the victim suffering from “shotgun birdshot” wounds, the newspaper said. She was hospitalized with non-critical injuries.

The suspect, who is the woman’s boyfriend, fled the site and remains at large. His name was not released.
