Woman suspected in 3 bank robberies across Dallas remains at large, police say

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help to identify a woman who is suspected in three bank robberies in the last month.

The woman walked into the Comerica Bank in the 2700 block of Fort Worth Avenue, between North Westmoreland and North Hampton roads in west Oak Cliff, about 11 a.m. Oct. 22. After she gave a teller a note demanding money, she fled with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.

Police suspect the same woman in two November bank robberies:

  • The Chase in the 6300 block of East Mockingbird Lane, at Abrams Road in Old East Dallas, on Nov. 5.
  • The Comerica Bank in the 11100 block of Garland Road, near Jupiter Road in the White Rock area, on Nov. 12.

The robber was described as a Hispanic woman who is 30 to 40 years old, and about 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-5 with a heavy build. She has brown eyes and long brown hair, and she was wearing a baseball cap during each incident.

People who wish to remain anonymous may call Crime Stoppers at 214-373-8477. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest and indictment in this case.
