Teenage boy found shot to death behind abandoned Fort Worth gas station

Fort Worth police are investigating after a teenage boy was found shot to death behind an abandoned gas station over the weekend.

Authorities were called just before noon Saturday to the 2100 block of Stalcup Road, near Elgin Street, where an unconscious person had been reported. They found the body of 16-year-old Javarus Jackson behind the gas station.

According to the Tarrant County medical examiner’s office, Jackson had been shot multiple times.
