Wet and cooler weather returns

After a record setting 81 degrees on Wednesday, here comes the chill! A cold front moved through North Texas last night bringing rain and cooler temperatures to the area. Severe weather is not expected with any storms, but it will be noticeable cooler and brisk with high temperatures in the 40s and 50s. Rain is expected off and on through the day today, so allow extra time for your commute.

Additional rain is likely Friday afternoon and evening. A second cold front will arrive Friday night, sweeping the rain out of North Texas.

The weekend will be dry but chilly with highs in the 50s. Much of next week looks chilly and unsettled.
