Police search for suspect in fatal hit-and-run in South Dallas

Police are searching for a person who fled after striking and killing a 66-year-old man who was crossing the street Saturday in South Dallas.

Harvey Bernard Miller was killed around 6:25 p.m. when he was struck by a white four-door car heading south in the 5300 block of South Lamar Street, police said.

The driver didn’t stop, fleeing south on South Central Expressway toward Overton Road, police said.
