Additional showers likely

Some parts of the DFW metro area have had over four inches of rain. Showers remain in the forecast through Friday, but additional rain amounts will likely be less than one inch.

A cold front will move across the area Friday night, bringing in drier air leading to an end to the rain. The weekend will be chilly but there will be plenty of sunshine.
