Plenty of sun today, but cool

After a cold and frosty start with temperatures at or below freezing in spots, we’re in for a cool afternoon with highs in the 50s. A good amount of sunshine will be with us today and Monday before a weak cold front slides into the area by Tuesday.

Chances of rain will increase Wednesday into Thursday across the region. A few isolated thunderstorms will be possible on Thursday, but no severe weather is expected. We will dry out once again for the latter part of next week and next weekend.
