2 horses found dead after fire erupts at stable in north Harris Co.

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — Two horses were found dead after a fire broke out at a stable in north Harris County Monday afternoon.

Crews responded to reports of a fire in the 700 block of Hill Road around 3 p.m.

The Little York Fire Department says the fire was put out quickly, but the two horses couldn’t be saved.

Fire officials are working to determine the cause of the fire.
