Chilly weather before a weekend warm up

Clouds will remain locked in place over much of North Texas through Thursday with chilly temperatures. Spotty showers or patchy drizzle is possible Thursday, but most hours will be dry.

Sunshine will begin to return Friday with a slight warm up.

A greater warm up will take place this weekend with highs in the 60s and 70s. Mild weather will last into early next week before the next cold front arrives Tuesday.
