Suspects sought after Sonic robbed in Mesquite

Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying two suspects after a Sonic restaurant was robbed in Mesquite Tuesday morning.

Officers responded at 7:14 a.m. to the fast-food location, in the 1800 block of Military Parkway, where they learned that two men had confronted an employee outside at gunpoint after ordering food.

The pair ordered the employee inside the store and robbed the location, fleeing in a dark-colored SUV with black wheels.

The suspects are described as black males between 19 and 25 years old.

One was wearing a black hoodie, torn blue jeans and blue shoes with white soles and laces. The second suspect was wearing a black Nike hoodie, torn black jeans and black and gray shoes.
