Two people shot near Fort Worth gas station Wednesday evening

Two people were shot near a west Fort Worth gas station Wednesday evening but both are expected to survive, police said.

The incident took place about 6 p.m. near a Texaco in the 2700 block of Las Vegas Trail, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reported.

The unidentified individuals were transported to local hospitals, one by ambulance and the other by private vehicle, with non-life-threatening injuries.

The incident remains under investigation.
