Beto O’Rourke said he was taking Joe Biden to Whataburger on Monday night, just after he endorsed the former vice president for the Democratic nomination for president.
And he made good on his promise, livestreaming the whole meal at the Whataburger near Cityplace in Dallas.

“Put me in coach. I’m ready to play,” Biden says after putting on a Beto t-shirt a woman at Whataburger gave him.
Sofia, a seven-year old from Broken Bow, Oklahoma, asked Joe Biden and Beto O’Rourke for autographs at Whataburger on Monday night. They both wrote her notes.
Biden: “You are a lovely, bright young lady.”
O’Rourke: “I am expecting great things from you.”
