2 wounded in separate shootings in South Dallas, Far East Dallas, police say

Two men were shot in separate incidents overnight, Dallas police said, and one of the victims was hospitalized in critical condition.

One of the victims was shot multiple times around 9:10 p.m. Tuesday near Park Row and Colonial avenues in South Dallas.

According to police, the victim was shot by a masked man who fled on foot. Nothing was taken from the victim, police said.

The injured man was hospitalized in critical condition, police said.

The second shooting occurred just after 2 a.m. Wednesday in the 10800 block of Cassandra Way in Far East Dallas.

One man was found shot with two gunshot wounds, police said, one in the hand and the other in the leg.

The victim said he was shot by two men but otherwise wasn’t cooperative, police said.
