More storms on the way

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect through Thursday evening.

Another 1 to 2 inches of rain fell across DFW Tuesday night, causing some street flooding again. And the rainfall totals were even heavier to the north and west.

The next round of storms will develop across west Texas this afternoon and evening. These storms could turn severe producing hail and winds over 60 miles per hour, especially northwest of Fort Worth. Some will drift across DFW overnight, but should diminish by daybreak Thursday.

Another round of storms is expected on Thursday, with rain finally tapering off Friday morning. It will also turn much cooler Friday and into the weekend.
