Storm chances return early, then a big warm up

There will be a chance for active weather this morning as a cluster of storms move through during the morning hours from west to east. The highest chance of a storm will be south and east of Dallas-Fort Worth. Some storms may be severe with hail and damaging winds as they move deeper into Central and East Texas.

This afternoon, additional storms may develop across Northeast Texas, which could be strong to severe. Otherwise, the remainder of Sunday will feature increasing sunshine with highs above 80.

After a pleasant start to the work week, another storm system capable of producing strong to severe storms will move into the region on Wednesday. Be sure to check back for the latest updates.
