Pleasant Wednesday weather

Today will feature a good deal of sunshine with light winds and low humidity. After a cool start to the morning, it’s back to May this afternoon with high temperatures in the low 80s.

Our next cold front arrives late Thursday night into Friday morning, bringing a chance for severe weather to parts of North Texas. Strong winds would be the main threat, but hail will also be possible. The highest threat for strong to severe storms will be well north and northwest of the DFW area, along the Red River. Scattered storms will be possible elsewhere. All activity should be gone by late morning. The rest of Friday will be dry. Mother’s Day weekend will be pleasant with sunshine and highs in the 70s.
