Five people were injured Sunday in a shooting at a park in Fort Worth, where police said a crowd of 600 people had gathered.
Officers responded to the Village Creek Park just before 7 p.m., officials said. Witnesses said there were fireworks at the park, followed by 30 rounds of gunfire.
The five victims were taken to a local hospital, police said. Three of the victims sustained injuries that weren’t life-threatening, while the two other victims were in critical condition Sunday night.
Police did not identify the victims.
A separate shooting was reported at a nearby gas station in the 4200 block of Miller Avenue, but police are determining if the two incidents are related.
