Warm & muggy with evening storms

Today will be mostly dry, warm and breezy with temperatures climbing into the mid 80s this afternoon. There is a better chance for showers and thunderstorms this evening and Thursday as a line of storms develop out in West Texas, and move east after 7 p.m. with a damaging wind threat. But, much of the time will be dry and storms are expected to weaken as they move east into the DFW area overnight.

Showers and thunderstorms become more likely Friday into Saturday. Some heavy rain is possible.

The forecast remains unsettled into the first half of next week with daily rain chances.
