Plano ISD will provide free grab-and-go meals for students this summer

Plano ISD is offering free grab-and-go meals for students over the summer.

Students 18 years old and younger will receive a free lunch and a breakfast for the following day. Anyone picking up meals without a student present must provide documentation, which can include a student-issued identification card, report card, birth certificate or the verification letters that families are currently providing when they pick up meals.

Starting Tuesday, May 26, meals may be picked up from 10:30 a.m. to noon, Monday through Friday, at the following locations:
  • Armstrong Middle School (the bus lane at the rear of the building), 3805 Timberline Drive
  • Bowman Middle School, 2501 Jupiter Road
  • Christie Elementary School,3801 Rainier Road
  • Daffron Elementary School,3900 Preston Meadow Drive
  • Mitchell Elementary School,4223 Briargrove Lane
  • Sigler Elementary School, 1400 Janwood Drive

The program is being offered through a partnership with the Texas Department of Agriculture, the Plano ISD Food and Nutritional Services department.
