Frisco will host free drive-through COVID-19 testing Thursday at Toyota Stadium

Members of the Texas National Guard Mobile Testing Team, deployed by Texas Gov. Greg Abbott, will administer free drive-through COVID-19 tests at Toyota Stadium.

Participants must register for an appointment either online or by calling. No one will be accepted without first making an appointment.

Frisco’s total number of confirmed cases is 179 with 134 recoveries as of Tuesday, however, that does not include Collin County numbers. The Department of State Health Services recently took over COVID-19 case investigation and contact tracing for Collin County, and new numbers have not been released.

The program is provided through collaboration with the Texas Military Department, North Center Texas Trauma Regional Advisory Council, Texas Department of Emergency Management and Collin County.

Residents must have one or more of the followings symptoms to be tested:

  • Fever and/or chills
  • Cough
  • Fatigue
  • Body aches, muscle or joint pain
  • Shortness of breath
  • Sore throat
  • Headaches
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Nasal congestion
  • Loss of taste and/or smell
