Keller police had been looking for 59-year-old Mark Bowen Stanush. He was found about 11:20 a.m. Saturday in his vehicle outside a Walmart in Midlothian, dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound, authorities said.

Teresa Salyer, 58, was fatally shot Tuesday night at her home in the 500 block of Manchester Court, police said.

Salyer filed for divorce in August, days after Stanush was arrested on a family-violence assault charge, court records show.

Salyer alleged that Stanush got drunk and started arguing with her, then choked her and threw her to the ground, resulting in a fractured rib. She wrote in an affidavit that “Mark has also told me more than once, ‘I’ve killed before, I’ll kill again.‘”

The assault case is still pending in a Tarrant County court.
