As parents look to the district for more info, Grand Prairie ISD revamps its website

Grand Prairie ISD is implementing a timely revamp of its website.

According to Sam Buckmeyer, a spokesman for the district, highlights include a new video section on the main page and campus pages to showcase students and staff as well as “several new interactive elements to enhance the visitor experience.”

The school district will launch the revamped website Friday night; a preview of the new site can be found on the current district site.

There will also be a guided tour available to help people navigate the new website.

GPISD, which will start school online Aug. 17 and transition to a hybrid model Sept. 8, is encouraging parents to enroll children online now.
