Showers remain possible

A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect for much of North Texas until 7 am Thursday. Some heavy rain remains possible overnight and Thursday, but the coverage will become rather spotty and not as widespread as it was on Tuesday.

Cooler than normal weather will settle in for the rest of the week with daily rain and storm chances through Saturday, although rain chances will be diminishing each day. Highs will generally be in the 80s, but the humidity will remain high, making it feel warmer. Much of the Labor Day weekend will be dry and warmer has highs return to the low 90s. There’s hope for a stronger, more refreshing, cold front arriving on Tuesday.
