Scattered showers through Tuesday

Rain chances will return to North Texas. Outer bands of rain from Tropical Storm Beta (off the Texas coast) will surge up into North Texas. Of course, the most widespread rain will remain across south and southeast Texas, but North Texas will at least see scattered showers over the next 24-36 hours. Temperatures will be below normal as the rain and clouds move in.

The highest rain chances will be tonight into Tuesday. Rain totals are expected to range from 0.50 to one inch for most locations. Most of the rain will exit by Wednesday as Beta slowly moves away. Dry and sunny weather will return for the second half of the week with warmer weather by the weekend.
