Police say a teenager was fatally shot at a Plano park Saturday.

Officers were dispatched about 2:20 a.m. Saturday to investigate reports of a shooting at Jack Carter Park. Before arriving, they learned of a teenager at a local hospital who had been shot.

Officers determined the 18-year-old, Jacob Lyle Rusk, had been shot at the park. He later was pronounced dead, and the incident is being investigated as a homicide.
