Man fatally shot in southeast Dallas, police say

A man was fatally shot Wednesday evening in southeast Dallas, police say.

Officers responding to calls shortly before 7 p.m. about the shooting found the victim on a sidewalk in the 100 block of Jim Miller Road, near Great Trinity Forest Way.

The victim, who had been shot repeatedly, was pronounced dead at a nearby hospital. Police identified him as Nico King, 30.

Police said the person who shot him fled in a vehicle. They released images of a suspect in the case on Friday.

No details about what led to the shooting have been released.
