HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — More award-winning weather is coming to Southeast Texas this week. If you are heading to the polls early Tuesday for Election Day, take a jacket, because temperatures will be in the mid 40s in the morning.

After that, the nice, sunny, cool fall weather pattern will continue the rest of the week.
We will see a gradual warming trend towards the end of the week with highs climbing back in to the low 80s this weekend. That’s also when slight rain chances will return along with higher humidity on a Gulf breeze.
Our next front looks to move into Texas early next week, reaching Houston on or around Tuesday. This front will also bring a better chance for showers and thunderstorms.
