Grapevine campground ranked among the best in the county

Craving a trip outside or just anywhere that’s away from home? Consider camping in Grapevine at it’s nationally-ranked campground.

Grapevine’s The Vineyards Campground & Cabins is one of the best places to go camping or take an RV in the United States, according to USA Today. The team at USA Today consulted experts around the country and then had readers vote on their favorites.

The outlet ranked ten spots across the country and Grapevine squeaked in at tenth place. Rounding out the list were locations near the Grand Canyon and Yellowstone National Park.

The Vineyards Campground & Cabins sits on the shores of Grapevine Lake with the opportunity to camp, stay in on-site cabins, or pull up an RV for a getaway. There’s a playground onsite, fishing station, a beach and swimming area (probably best used in warmer weather).

Cabins range from $143 to $180 per night, according to the website. The site has Wi-Fi, laundry facilities, a camp store, pavilions, a campfire, and the option to rent a kayak or paddle boards.
