North Richland Hills police say a 4-year-old boy has been found safe after he was abducted by his mother.

Presumptive Texas House Speaker Dade Phelan involved in minor plane crash

Officials announced that the boy, Ashton, was safe just before 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Police had said that the child was taken from the Chuck E. Cheese in the 7900 block of Boulevard 26, near Interstate 820, by his biological mother, who does not have custody of him.

They drove off in an older model black Toyota 4-Runner. Additional details about the incident were not immediately available.
