Dallas police were called about 1:10 p.m. to an apartment complex in the 3800 block of Gannon Lane, near U.S. Highway 67 and the LBJ Freeway, about the shooting. Officers found 35-year-old Tommie Cunningham in the parking lot, dead from multiple gunshot wounds.

Witnesses told police that Cunningham had been in a fight with Michael Queen, 28, according to an arrest-warrant affidavit.

Police wrote in the affidavit that the incident was captured on video and that after the fight, Queen could be seen following Cunningham to his vehicle and shooting him. After Cunningham fell to the ground, Queen stood over him and shot him several more times, police said.

Queen was arrested a short time later at a nearby apartment. He faces one count of murder.

He remained in custody at the Dallas County jail Friday, with bail set at $500,000. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.
