Police have identified a man who was found fatally shot early Saturday in Pleasant Grove as 29-year-old Demarcus Pierre Thurman.

Officers were called around 4:10 a.m. to 8245 Scyene Road, near Scyene Circle and South Buckner Boulevard, and found Thurman shot, police said. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police originally said Thurman was found in the 3100 block of Pleasant Drive, about 300 feet away, but later updated the address.
No other details about the shooting were made available.
