Breezy winds and cold temperatures move in

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) — A cold front moved through Sunday bringing showers and storms. The front has moved off to the east taking the rain with it. Cold air will continue to filter in overnight. Winds this evening will also be gusty which is why there is a Wind Advisory in effect until midnight. Winds could gust up to 35 mph.

How cool with the start of your work week be?

We should start off with temperatures in the upper 30s for Monday, but it will feel like temperatures are in the low to mid 30s when you factor in the northerly wind. Temperatures will only warm up into the upper 40s and low 50s so you’ll need to take a jacket with you tomorrow.

When is our next cold front?

Our next front looks to move in Tuesday night. A few showers will be possible along the front but chances look limited at this time.

Do we have a freeze in the forecast?

It’s possible areas north of Houston may drop to freezing Thursday morning.
