A chilly night, then a stretch of nice weather

r

Showers Saturday morning fell mostly east of Dallas, ahead of a cold front. Sunshine returned by afternoon, but with clear skies it will be chilly overnight, with lows in the 30s. Sunday will be cool, but very pleasant with sunshine and light winds.

Next week will show a warming trend through midweek. The next strong cold front will arrive Wednesday afternoon or evening, bringing colder weather to North Texas for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. But again, any rain with that front will likely occur east of Dallas.
