Police searching for suspect in 65-year-old man’s death in West Dallas

Dallas police are asking for the public’s help in searching for a suspect in the death of a 65-year-old man in West Dallas.

Police responded to a health and welfare check call in the 2300 block of Leath Street about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday and found Timothy Paul Allen unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a car, police said.

He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Dallas County medical examiner’s office determined that Allen had died from homicidal violence, police said. Police said they do not know the killer’s motive.
