Paapam for localisation

KARACHI: The Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers has said that Pakistan is being exploited as a consumer country instead of a manufacturing country.

“We should focus on ‘Make in Pakistan’ not “Assemble in Pakistan,” senior leaders of the association said during a meeting held in Lahore while appreciating Prime Minister Imran Khan for taking notice regarding higher automobile prices owing to lower content of localised parts and government’s strict tariff and taxation policy.
