Man arrested 5 months after fatal shooting in West Dallas

A 27-year-old man has been arrested five months after a man was found shot to death in West Dallas.

Officers were called about 9:30 p.m. Aug. 14 to the scene of a shooting in the 3900 block of Harston Street, near Canada Drive. Jones, who had been shot, was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead.

Police did not say how they connected Austin to the case.

He was booked into the Dallas County jail Thursday afternoon, and his bail had not been set. It was unclear whether he had an attorney.
