Suspect in custody in connection with slaying at far northeast Dallas apartments

A suspect is in custody in connection with a fatal January shooting at a far northeast Dallas apartment complex.

Kyle Flanagan, 21, was booked into the Dallas County jail Wednesday on a capital murder charge in the death of Donald King.

King, 31, was found shot to death the morning of Jan. 26 in a vehicle in the 10000 block of Walnut Street, near Audelia Road.

Police did not say how they linked Flanagan to the case.

He remained in custody Monday, with bail set at $1 million. His attorney could not immediately be reached for comment.
