Government of Pakistan has announced the award of Hilal e Imtiaz to Pakistani-American oil business tycoon Mr.Javaid Anwar

Houston: (Raja Zahid Akhtar Khanzada) The Government of Pakistan has announced the award of Hilal e Imtiaz to Mr.Javaid Anwar, a renowned Pakistani-American oil business tycoon from Texas, for his valuable services in various fields including Pak-US relations. This highest honor is being conferred on him in recognition of his outstanding services in a number of areas of interests for Pakistan and the US. The list includes Pak-US relations, philanthropy and education. This highest civilian award is given by the government of Pakistan exclusively to Pakistani civilians and soldiers who have rendered invaluable services.

Javaid Anwar is a Petroleum Engineer by profession and is highly regarded in American political, governmental, and social circles for his exemplary service to the welfare and social work, including education in the United States.

 He has played a commendable role in Pak-US relations, in the field of international diplomacy as well as in the field of welfare work in Pakistan

 He is a close friend of several US political dignitaries including former US Presidents George W. Bush and president Donald Trump.  He has worked to make Pakistan a prominent place in the field of education. Also every year he provides aid of several million dollars to the local universities and other institutions of higher learning. Several members of Pakistani community living in the United States who have first hand knowledge of  Javaid Anwar’s work, have expressed their gratitude to the Government of Pakistan.for recognition of Mr. Anwar’s services to the country.
