Warm and windy week ahead

Easter didn’t feature bright blue skies. But the grey clouds didn’t hamper our warm up as temperatures rose to the mid 70s by late afternoon. As expected, all rain showers remained south of Waco. Skies will gradually clear out overnight.

This next week will be dry with a significant warming trend. Highs will be in the 80s. Gusty west winds will aid in that warm up. A weak cold front will arrive late Wednesday afternoon, bringing rain to parts of east Texas, and a brief cooldown for DFW. But after a cooler Thursday morning, temperatures will jump right back into the 80s.

There appears to be little chance for rain in DFW this week, though low storm chances may appear the following week.
