Two people are in custody after a man was found shot to death Wednesday afternoon at a home in Dallas’ Rylie area.
Danyel Nicole Harrell, 22, and Tyler Andrew Puccella, 27, each face a capital murder charge in the slaying of 32-year-old David Cruz.
Officers were called about 5:45 p.m. Wednesday to a home in 14900 block of Lasater Road, near Interstate 20 and Lawson Road, where they found Cruz in a bedroom with a gunshot shot to his chest.
Cruz was pronounced dead at his home.
Police did not say how they identified Harrell and Puccella as suspects.
The pair were arrested Thursday. Their bail had not been set, and it was unclear whether either of them had an attorney.
