LAHORE: Pakistan Tehreek-i-Pakistan (PTI) estranged leader Jahangir Khan Tareen’s MNA Raja Riaz and provincial minister Ajmal Cheema called on Governor Chaudhry Sarwar on Friday and expressed their concerns over cases against Mr Tareen.

The governor assured them that political revenge was out of the question and justice would be served in Mr Tareen’s case.

Both Mr Riaz and Mr Cheema were accompanied by disaster management minister Mian Khalid Mahmood and culture minister Khayal Mehmood Kastro for the meeting. The meeting discussed various political and governmental issues.

The governor said every member of the PTI had full confidence in the leadership of Prime Minister Imran Khan and the PTI government in the centre and that Punjab was taking steps for equal development and stability of all regions.
