Woman in custody after police investigate bomb threat at McKinney bank

A woman was in custody after a bomb threat at a McKinney bank Tuesday afternoon.

McKinney police said just before 2 p.m. that they were investigating a bomb threat in the parking lot of the Valliance Bank in the 5900 block of South Lake Forest Drive, near the Sam Rayburn Tollway. Police cautioned people to avoid the area.

The Plano bomb squad was at the scene as a precaution, police said.

About 3:30 p.m., police said the scene was clear and one person had been taken into custody.

Kerry Lou Condon, 39, was arrested on one count of making a terroristic threat. She remained in custody at the Collin County jail Friday, with bail set at $5,000.
