More rain expected Saturday, weekend not a washout

Saturday begins cloudy with areas of fog, followed by increasing rain and storm chances. An unsettled weather pattern is going to continue through tonight across much of North Texas. Expect showers from time to time, but several dry hours as well.

In DFW, up to an inch of additional rain is possible through tonight. The steadiest and heaviest rain will occur in Central Texas where an additional two to three inches of rain could fall. Locally heavy rainfall could result in flooding.

By Sunday morning, the storm system responsible for the rain will be moving east and weakening. This will allow sunshine to return by Sunday afternoon with high temperatures in the low 80s.
