A 35-year-old man was found fatally shot in the face Sunday morning in Far East Dallas, police say.

Authorities were dispatched about 9 a.m. for a health and welfare check along Interstate 30 near North Buckner Boulevard.

They found Francisco Villanueva Rodriguez on the ground with a single gunshot wound in an alley behind a strip club, but police said the shooting had happened earlier at 3830 Dilido Road, which is the address for a car dealership.

Rodriguez was pronounced dead at the scene

No arrests had been made, and no information about what led to the shooting was released.
