Warming trend into the weekend

Thursday begins dry for most, but keep the umbrella handy just in case. There is a chance for a few early morning showers or sprinkles to move from Oklahoma into the counties near the Red River through mid morning. Otherwise, today will be a bit warmer with highs in the lower-80s. Mostly to partly sunny and continued dry conditions are expected through Saturday.

A slight chance of storms return on Sunday ahead of our next cold front, but Mother’s Day will not be a wash out.

The beginning of next week will be cooler and unsettled with a chance of scattered showers and thunderstorms. Storm chances will likely stick around through mid-week.
