A man was fatally shot in Fort Worth on Monday.
Police were called just after 6 p.m. to the 1700 block of East Robert Street, near South Riverside Drive. According to an incident report, a 911 caller reported that someone had shot a man at a nearby park.
The shooting victim was pronounced dead from a gunshot to his head. The Tarrant County medical examiner’s office identified him as 20-year-old Anthony Fields.
Police are continuing to investigate the shooting.
